Former White House social secretary Desirée Rogers has been named chief executive of Johnson Publishing Company, billed as "the world's largest African-American owned-and-operated publishing company." JPC publishes both Ebony and Jet magazines.
"Desirée has a proven track record of successful business leadership," company chairman Linda Johnson Rice said in a statement. "She is a longstanding confidante and a savvy businesswoman who is committed to the strategic growth of Johnson Publishing Company. I look forward to working side by side with her as we embark upon this next phase for the company." Yahoo News
It looks like Desirée Rogers has gotten the stink of the Obama administration off and is right back where she should be, in charge. Go Des!

Great news for her! Coolness! This was a wonderful GET for the mag... & a fitting consolation prize for all that she's endured & the tres uncool way it all went down.
Sometimes it really is true that when one door closes, a window opens.

Seems so! I'm very happy for her.
I'm so glad for her also!
Seems like many times in these political positions there has to be a fall guy, and then as the saying goes,"the chain breaks at it's weakest link" The top bananas(in this case the FBI or CIA who should have been in charge of security)will not get fired. But the women will be quickly beheaded!
What a world... Not easy being a woman, let alone a woman of color!!!
@Desertflower
She was def the fall person. The Director of the Secret Service still has his job.
