As I listen to the people set off fireworks in my neighborhood yesterday,I made the comment if they really knew what they were celebrating,they would stop.
But this is a clear example of what happens to you when you don't know your history.
But there are still a lot of black and brown folk who still insist that slavery doesn't have an effect on their lives today.

Good stuff. I read about this over the weekend. Of course, the founding fathers were a mofo with themselves. Too funny @ "founding" fathers. More like murderous fathers.
