Resigning as governor of Alaska last year to join the private sector has worked out splendidly – and lucratively – for Sarah Palin.
The 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate has earned at least $12 million, and probably more than that, since leaving office at end of July, according to an estimate by ABC News.
That's mostly thanks to TV and book deals and lots of speaking appearances worth five and six figures each. ABC says its estimate, based on public records and news accounts, is conservative – and that the actual number is "probably much higher."

There are actually Tea Baggers who think Sarah Palin gives a damn about this country. When all Palin really cares about is getting rich and here is the proof. Unfortunately you can lead a Tea Bagger to the truth but you can't make them believe it. Ignorance is their preferred state of being.

Pimping ignorance seems to be the norm today!If someone is saying what you feel,you will jump on their bandwagon without thinking through what they are actually saying.That seems be the average teabagger from where I sit.
Sarah Palin quote?
After that botched interview and with Katie Couric during the elections and subsequent campaign loss I thought Palin would never be heard from again.
To my surprise and probably hers ... things have worked out just fine for her and her Tea Bagger party, from a financial standpoint.
Interesting to see how her monetary and popularity gain translates in the '12 Presidential race.
I laugh every time I see that picture of her, winking her eye.
@BigMac
Yep, it's the cult of personality for sure. Tea Baggers thrive on ignorance, it's like a drug to them.
@Don
I really don't think she has any plans to run for President. At this point her money making will be too big an issue in a election. She's just using the possibility of her running to make money.
Lol, no that's not a quote of anything she said. More like what she's thinking.
Okay.
And I kinda stop thinking she had any 'real' plans to myself, about a week ago. It will be interesting seeing how it all plays out.
I stopped giving her play on my blog. I guess one day I'll have to write about her again but until then I'm holding out......
@Don
Very interesting indeed. A lot of Tea Baggers are gonna get their poor hearts broken by Ms. Palin. Lol
@CO
I couldn't pass up writing about her greediness. Lol
It's interesting to watch the University of California debacle and what it reveals about Palin's speaking "demands." She has to stay in a deluxe hotel; she has to travel first class, or on a private lear. None of that sounds like average-American-Joe stuff to me.
@?
Yeah I've been checking that out too. Students finding contracts in dumpsters? Lol Sarah is just trying to get paid, period. And the admin at Cal ought to be fired for this and a bunch of other stuff.
Don't hate, at least she got paid.
I can only imagine her somewhere singing.........I've got my mind on my money and my money on my mind!! Yeah that and "I can see Russia from my backyard".
@Reggie
I'm def not hating I'm just wondering how it is that her Tea Bag followers don't realize what she's really about.
