I've been watching the pundits go on about the State of the Union speech. They are all over the place in their analysis. There really is no general consensus about the speech. So I have to ask why are they on my TV? I mean it's not like political pundits have a great track record analyzing events or politics. Remember how most totally got the run-up to the American War in Iraq wrong? So why are those same people still on TV every day of the week spouting off?
Either we need a new crop of pundits or we just need to scrap the whole political pundit thing all-together.

The last thing I need is some highly opinionated idiot to preach to me about this nonsense. If I wanted to see some idiot like that, I'd look in a mirror!!!
I'm quite capable of forming my own opinions.
@Reggie
Lol, exactly!
There are a couple, Roland and Donna, mainly, whose opinions, agreed or not, I enjoy....but yes way too many.
Politics is a game, it appears.
@Don
I used to like Donna a lot but lately she's been defending Obama even when there is no real defense to what he has or has not done. She loses a lot of points for that.
For some reason Roland Martin annoys me.
I do like Michelle Bernard though.
With all these blogs the need seems to be diminished.
@UBJ
That's true. There are more than enough opinions online to make up for the talking heads on TV.
