It's a bad economy, we all know that. Jobs are very scarce especially if you are an African American. But there is work if you are willing.
Have you considered becoming a Black conservative?
The pay is great and so are the perks. But you will be required to say some crazy stuff. Like you may be required to talk about how when you fly and are seated near someone who looks all kinds of Muslim-ie how they scare the bejeezus out of you.
Also you will be required to defend the crazy racist stuff that White conservatives say. That's a given.
If you are willing the sky is the limit for you. Just ask Black conservative Juan Williams who talked about his fear of Muslim looking people on Fox (cough) News the other day. Of course those lefty crazies at National Public Radio, with whom Williams was employed as a news analyst, fired him because of those remarks. But who cares because on the same day that he was fired he got a big attaboy from Fox when they signed him to a multi-year deal reportedly worth a little over 2 million dollars. Not too shabby for a days work, right?
If you are so inclined just listen to a few Rush Limbaugh shows, a couple of Glenn Beck shows and at least one Bill O'Reilly show then take a glance at Michelle Malkin's blog and you're ready! Just put on your best business attire and head over to Fox (cough) News and tell them that you are ready to be a resident Black conservative. And wham, you're in!
Anyway, somebody's got to do it so why not you!
Oh and you'll have to just hold your tongue when the Tea Partiers start uncontrollably spouting the N word.

You have pegged Juan Williams to the tee,years ago he was a reporter for the Washington Post and was fired from that job for being stupid in my opinion.
And thanks Val for the shout-out yesterday.
Fox is the perfect forum for Williams to spew his reactionary venom.
Williams was always a wolf in sheep's clothing. He passed himself off as a liberal but he is really a member of the black neo conservative movement.
What he said was inappropriate for a journalist, Period. But it isn't the first idiotic statement Williams has made. The Good Ol' Boy Network (Fox News) has finally rewarded him for all of his years of hard work. I'm sure Williams is elated.
I read about this on Twitter yesterday, it was a hot topic so I decided to check it out.
I wasn't really offended by his remarks, although disturbing that he would actually speak them in a public forum. I am sure Juan Williams understood the consequences of his acts.
I actually found humor in the statement, "That's just the reality."
Oh really? Lol.
9/11 and the actions of those extremists have forever tainted Muslims in America, and across the world.
Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
@ jason: Too funny @ The Good Ol' Boy Network (Fox News) has finally rewarded him for all of his years of hard work.
Over the years I've taken issue w/ many of the things he's spouted & some of the opinions he's uttered to the point where I can say he doesn't rep my political sensibility or those of many people of color, so speaking to Fox, I guess his tude is 'get in where you fit in.'
However, in one of those Keeping It Real Moments, most talkingheads would not dare state in a public forum, he actually WENT there & DID that.
STOOPID!
That being said, talkingheads are just as apt to mess up & fug up & be as dumb as anyone else. We just EXPECT them to do better than the rest of us. Stupid Human Moments, just like feces, happen.
I don't think one should lose their gig for stating their honest opinion (unless it advocates violence.) Sadly, it's an opinion that far too many people house in this country about minorities. Ignorance. Until we can actually BECOME the change (we claim) we want to see, we will continue to offend those 'others' who we deem to be different than the rest of us!
One.
@BigMac
Stupid pretty much sums up Juan.
You are very welcome. I hope you had a great day!
@Jason
Yes it (Fox) is a much better fit for him than NPR. Especially since he's not really a journalist.
@Lin
The problem though is that Williams was pretending to be a journalist at NPR. And journalist have to keep the appearance of not having bias. He crossed that line and I'm glad he was fired.
I thought he had always been on FAUX news. My bad. Your post is on point. A sad truth though.
Ahhhh, so how much does it pay?!?
@Daij
He's been on Fox for a while. But they just gave him this new contract after NPR fired him.
@Reggie
Juan signed for 2 million. So the sky's the limit!
That's certainly more than I make now.
