Remember Brownstone? They formed in 1994 and were signed to Michael Jackson's MJJ record label. They had most of their success in the mid-nighties although they continued to record and perform as late as 2007. Brownstone is also one of those groups that has changed members. The trio Brownstone has lost and gained a singer 3 times. There are rumors that Brownstone is recording an album for release sometime this year.The two songs which they are most known are, "If You Love Me" and "Grapevyne".

Man I loved Brownstone and that whole era of women groups. Just loved it. Between Brownstone and Zhane my ears were in HEAVEN

Yeah the late 80's and the mid 90's were a great time for women R&B singers. I think people will see it as a golden era as time passes. And as we are subjected to more modern day R&B.
I used to love some Brownstone. That joint "If you love me" I rocked to more nights than I care to remember.
Looking at the 'If You Love Me video,' the 3rd female looks like she was just a pretty face. Funny! Good flashback choice!

Brownstone is right up there with the Supremes and Destiny's Child as far as losing members.
I know what you mean about losing music. I have lost tons of music over the years. It really gets bad when you are buying the same album for the third or forth time. Lol.
