It was all over the news last week, the British are upset that Americans are badmouthing British Petroleum. That's right, after BP has spilled millions of gallons of crude oil in the Gulf of Mexico the Brits are offended that most Americans are angry at BP.
This after BP CEO Tony Hayward commented on how he would like to get back to his life. This after BP has lied, time and time again, about the amount of oil spilling into the Gulf. This after BP has dumped nearly a million gallons of the toxic oil dispersant Corexit in the Gulf. This after an unknown amount of wildlife has either been injured or killed by the spill.
And most importantly, this after eleven Americans lost their lives in the explosion that began this disaster.
I hear the British are known for having a stiff upper lip. Well they need to stop flapping their stiff upper lips and shut the hell up! We have a right to be angry with BP and we will be until we aren't.

Before I comment,let me say how impress I'm.
The new design of your blogspot is wonderful.
For those folks across the pond
they can go pound sand all day, far I'm concern.
In an article released today on Dr. Mercola’s website, a damning expose of the reality of this TOXIC Chemical and the implications for life on land and in the oceans has been made available for all to see and read.
There are two video’s from 60 Minutes to watch: What really happened to cause the devastating oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico? And what is BP doing to fix the problem?
For an answer to the first question, watch the 60 Minutes story. As for the answer to the second question, read Dr. Mercola’s special report on the devastating choices made by BP to "clean up" the mess -- choices that could WORSEN the environmental impact of the spill, rather than improve it. See ****
This is something that needs to be viewed and read – far and wide, ESPECIALLY by those who are going to be in charge of seeing to it that Justice will be done! – Send this to the newspapers and your politicians and government officials….. ensure it is seen far and wide and acted upon please.

@BigMac
Thanks! And I agree about the Brits. If an American company had done this to the U.K. they'd be up in arms too.
@~~Just Me in T~~
Thanks for the info.
Everybody gets mad sometimes Val. I'm sure that deep down inside the Brits actually love us......and they should. Because if it weren't for the men and women in this country, there were a couple of times during the last century when most of their people would have been speaking German.....and still would have been speaking German to this day.
They'll get over it.
@Reggie
There probably wouldn't even be an England if it wasn't for the U.S.!
They should get over it now.
These are the times when one really begins to see exactly what certain people think of others. A defining moment, if you will.
It's insane for anyone to even wonder how is it possible for Americans to be upset with BP, when there is no other way to view this disaster.
Given that, I'm pretty sure Tony Hayward would love to get back to his life. *insert sarcasm*
@Don
You're right, Don.
I saw a poster with an oil soaked bird with a caption that said, "I want my life back."
I see Tony Hayward has some black guy in commercials now talking about giving out checks. He learned his lesson "no one wants to see you anymore." I think the Brits are still upset with how the whole American Revolutionary War ended. We kicked their behinds so that probably still smarts. Other than that they are good folks.
@CO
Yeah, I saw that spot. Well at least BP realizes that there are Black people affected by the spill, the media doesn't seem to. Except for Michelle Miller of CBS, that is.
