Meseret DefarFor all of the track and field fans, like me, out there. There will be two, that's right, two televised track meets today.
First up is the NCAA Division 1 Championships from Eugene, Oregon at 1 p.m./ eastern on CBS. Then the pros go at it from New York in the Adidas Gran Prix meet at 4 p.m./ eastern on NBC. Don't expect to see sprinters Tyson Gay or Usain Bolt, both are injured. But it's still going to be a great meet with sprinters like Allyson Felix in the house running the 200m and Meseret Defar running a rare 1500m race.
Update: If you missed the NBC broadcast of the Adidas Gran Prix meet from New York, Universal Sports Network has been re-broadcasting the meet since last night every few hours. Check the Universal Sports site for times.
