According to reports the girls above, who are 16 year old twin sisters Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah Whitehead, killed their mother, 34 year old Jarmecca “Nikki” Whitehead, this past January in Conyers, Georgia. The twin sisters were arrested this past Friday.On January 13 of this year the girls called police to say they had arrived home from school to find their mother stabbed to death. But apparently the girls had a history of violence and bad behavior and so friends of the family say they were suspicious of the girls story from the start.

This story is truly shocking to me. Their mother's last moments alive must have been pure hell. Not just because she was in pain and dying, but because her daughters were the ones killing her. I wonder how her soul can ever rest after something like this.

You have to be really upset and angry deep down inside to fight your parents, let alone fight your mother and actually kill her.
That is something serious and crucial. Then, it was done by two once upon a time sweet little girls....just awful.
With no sign of forced entry, police suspected Whitehead knew her killer.
Yep. I also read the two sister had just moved back into the home with their mom only 8 days earlier.

Tragic indeed. It's impossible for me to understand what the girls were thinking for them to be able to do this.
I'm really interested to hear what the motive was.
My own son went nuts at that age from a combination of surging hormones, alcohol and drug use, and the beginning of a mood disorder. This made him aggressive toward me, and I put his azz in a mental hospital multiple times and drug programs until he got the message.
I think now of how easy he would have been for an outsider to manipulate to do such a thing at that age. He still snaps every now and then but it is ALWAYS related to an alcohol binge, and now he's more likely to become suicidal than combative. Mood disorders combined with alcohol are a b!tch.
I also think that these girls will have enormous sorrow for the rest of their lives - unless they are sociopaths, or, their mother had been chronically abusive or allowed them to be molested by BFs. It will be interesting to see how this sad story unfolds.

Wow, sorry you and your son had to go through all of that. He's fortunate to have you, a lot of people end-up homeless.
I haven't heard anything about abuse so far. But that's always a possibility.
Best believe the fact that mama was 34 and children were 16 will raise eyebrows with not just conservative folks but some black folks as well. I suprised more people haven't heard about this. Val, you keep us informed and I love it.

Yeah, I did the math too. Eighteen is kind of young, especially without the father around. I haven't heard a word about him by the way.
