I couldn't believe no one asked him about that at the press conference today.Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15297338462983613290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8131459327788094296.post-10242622897389593032010-05-27T17:09:05.013-07:002010-05-27T17:09:05.013-07:00He needs to convince BP to stop dumping those toxi...He needs to convince BP to stop dumping those toxic oil dispersants in the Gulf. He told them, and they had the nerve to say no like it was a suggestion.

If there is one thing about how he is handling this catastrophe, I see his not using the full extent of his power in this area as a his #1 weakness, followed by his announcing today that he takes responsibility for what happened. That lets BP off the hook too much.Kit (Keep It Trill)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03027769872237001801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8131459327788094296.post-80663414214558842592010-05-27T10:02:49.426-07:002010-05-27T10:02:49.426-07:00@Don

But after a month of oil spilling into the gulf people are getting mad and wondering when Obama will move BP out of the way and have the Army Corp of Engineers take over.

As you know perception is more powerful than fact in politics. So once people get it into their heads that he hasn't or isn't doing enough that's going to be hard to overcome.Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15297338462983613290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8131459327788094296.post-63490478983007614292010-05-27T06:43:36.664-07:002010-05-27T06:43:36.664-07:00Val,
