I started buying vinyl record albums at a flea market a couple of years ago. I bought the records because of the album art. I framed the album covers and put them on the wall. But I made an interesting discovery. That is all the technological advances have made music easier to store at home and easier to take with you but, in my opinion, none beats the sound of vinyl records.

I agree with you on nothing being able to beat the sound on vinyl. And I know this to be true, 'cause whenever I heard vinyl records being sampled on songs today, the crispness makes me stop for a brief wonder and reminisce.
I do love the fact that we are able to have thousands of songs at exposure, at the tap of a button.
I always thought that CD's were the latest and the best for sound reproducing. At least that's what they're touted as being. Haven't heard a vinyl in ages!

I def love my ipod too. It is great to be able to take a few hundred songs around with you. But so far the sound just cannot compete with vinyl.

If you ever get the chance to listen to a just opended vinyl record I think you'll see that although cd's sound good, vinyl sounds amazing. The sound is just so crisp.
